BioHello!
This is Shanice, I will be one half of your posting team! So you're prolly wondering what this is all about. Quite simply I was bitten by the feminism bug at quite a young age and finally decided to get off my ass and do something about it! I noticed that were not many young bloggers out there who were new to the feminism game like myself. So for those of you who are new and feeling like there is nothing you can do to help solve the issues that face women or just people in general don't worry. I was just there as early as two weeks ago. I have however become more active so i can give you advice if you're confused. This is just a site to help those who are new to it all. It's a site for girls like Ally and I who love pop culture but are concerned with women's place in it at the same time. It's for girls who are a bit classy and a bit sassy. What we are trying to do was inspired by BITCH and BUST magazine at least on my half. Those are magazines that set pop culture on its head. Well I wanted to do that for the newbies and the young girls like myself! i want more girls to be proud to stand up for their rights and the right to refer to themselves as (dun dun dun!) the "f word". But first that involves disspelling some played out myths on feminism and what it means to be a feminist!. However we will save that for tomorrow. I have an English paper to write. :(
